{Thailand} Khao Sok National Park

We decided to do a day tour of Khao Sok National Park. This park is surrounded by a rainforest that is the largest rainforest in Thailand. The lake is a man made lake that was flooded to provide hydro electricity to the surrounding area. It’s huge limestone cliffs and karst rocks that jet out from the water make it so you just stand in awe. 

Our tour guide was so funny. We’d be walking through the jungle and we’d come across a sign that says something in Thai. He’d look at the sign and say “Oh it just says watch out for tigers. So just stick close to me”... then with no smile he'd just keep walking. Needless to say, people stayed close.

In the afternoon we enjoyed some thai food on a floating bungalow and swam in the lake. We’d joke that we felt like we were in the movie tarzan and that phil Collins should be playing in the background.
