Prayer Requests

Hello Friends, 

In light of this final month of school, I felt the need to send out some prayer requests that you can be lifting up. I would love to share an update of this semester too, however that will come when the school year finishes. As for right now, here are a few photos and prayer requests!  

Please pray for...

-My class. Their sassy, moody, hormonal + SO ready for middle school. Yet Jesus loves them and by his grace and strength I do too. Please pray for a good final weeks, that I would thrive (not just survive) and that the Lord's love would be made known in this class. 

-For a house. I need to move out of my place and into a new one in June. Housing though it kind funny in Kenya and things are never easy. I've been looking the last few months, and not much has come from it. Please pray for a safe, close place to be found in the next few weeks. *I do have a place to stay at friends if I don't find a place before summer, however it'd just be amazing if I didn't have to move all my things twice. 

- For my family. My Grandpa on my mom's side passed away two weeks ago. My family flew to Manitoba for the funeral and now are back home. Please pray specifically for my mom as this was her last remaining parent. Pray for comfort and peace in this time. 

-For my friend Maerissa. This year, the Lord has blessed me with a sweet friendship with the 3rd grade teacher here at West Nairobi School . This is Maerissa’s third year teaching at the school and she has been a great example and support for me these past 10 months. On June 6th last year, Maerissa's 3 siblings were taken suddenly in a car accident. As the first anniversary of their passing comes closer, it is a sad and hard season for Maerissa and her family. Please be praying for her and her family in this time. -For me. I'm tired and exhausted in every way possible. Please pray for strength, energy, wisdom and rootedness in the Lord to finish these last 3 weeks well. As well, please pray for a good transition back to Vancouver Island as I visit for the month of June.
